The summer savings roll on...
This week I have a lost favorite-
Veramonte Sauvignon Blanc
This fresh, exuberant white from Chile was a great favorite here for several years then it disappeared and thankfully I have found it again!
It has aromas and citrus notes such as lime and tangerine blend with subtle floral notes. Smooth and crisp, this Sauvignon Blanc has vibrant acidity and a long juicy finish.
I will have it open tomorrow between 2-7 and the price is very nice-only $10.99. Stop in and give it a try.
I will have John back again to open several other summer bargains as well. Don't miss it!

I have added Shafer wines to the inventory-those who follow wine will recognize the name. Those who aren't familiar with Shafer wines and are ready to try some California block-buster, high point wines should think about trying one of these for your next special occasion.
2014 One Point Five Cabernet Sauvignon
- a bold, expansive Stags Leap District wine that celebrates the winery's roots in this special area of Napa Valley.
“From the moment you pull the cork on this vintage rich, tantalizing aromas fill the air with blackberry, black licorice, spice, rose petal, and cinnamon, leading to a lush, full-bodied wine offering juicy flavors of black and red plum, summer berries, pie crust, baked rhubarb, cinnamon, and warm briar jam in a seamless package of ripe, welcoming tannins and a long, vibrant finish.”

Shafer 2012 Hillside Select
The 2012 Hillside Select is a classic, balanced, powerful Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from our rugged hillside vineyards in Napa Valley’s Stags Leap District.
“… a beautiful reflection of both its rugged vineyard site and an ideal vintage. Room-filling, energetic aromas of juicy, dark fruit and white flowers are completed by complex, youthful core-flavors of blackberry, cassis, and black cherry along with delicate herbs, graphite, and smoke. The wine is smooth and balanced as it moves through the mouth. The texture is seamless and light on its feet with classic Stags Leap District tannins that are ripe and ready for aging. There’s a lot of lush, vivid pleasure in the bottle now with more to come with a few years in a good cellar.”

Shafer 2014 Red Shoulder Ranch Chardonnay
The picture-perfect 2014 vintage has produced a Chardonnay with elegant aromas and flavors of melon, honeysuckle, apricot, pineapple, citrus zest, and flint. This abundance of exotic fruit is completed with bright acidity, seamless balance, and a long, mouth-coating finish.
