Beth's News, July 27, 2017

To keep the Summer savings rolling, I asked Cristina back to share more Moldovan values with us on Friday.

She will have the newest Cabernet open-
Chateau Vartely 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva
I tasted this one last week and did not hesitate a second-it's positively delicious!
Full of dark brooding fruit with just enough grip in the tannins and a beautiful balance. I think everyone is going to love this one. The price is great-on sale for only $11.99!

She also showed me the Chateau Vartely Pinot Noir-
This is just what Pinot Lovers like, light and smooth with soft tannins and great bright fruit flavors with a hint of spice-I just love it! It is also sale-priced at $11.99, a nice price for a quality Pinot.

Last but not least, she has a lovely Sparkling Brut Rose-
Cricova Brut Rose

Smells like a field of fresh flowers and is very fresh and lively with a little sweetness. Great for sipping on a hot day! Goes with crab cakes and spicy steamed shrimp or crabs very nicely. The price is only $14.99.

All of these will be open Friday after 2pm so stop in and have a sip or two and say hi to lovely Cristina!

That's not all! I have more great Summer savings wine to share with you on Friday-

These mellow, easy-drinking wines offer good quality and great value.

Combining generations of Italian heritage with innovative wine-making techniques, the wines in the Tavernello range are perfectly suited to be enjoyed by the glass or matched with foods.

The Soave comes from the Verona region. It has a pale yellow colour with hints of green and a subtle texture. On the nose, it has a pleasant bouquet of ripe fruits and hawthorn. Try it with hors d’oeuvres, light pastas dishes, fish, cold meats and chicken.

The Sangiovese is a vibrant red in colour, with violet hues, and an intense nose of red fruits. On the palate it is bursting with fruit flavours of red cherries and blackberries. Perfect with tomato-based dishes such as pasta or pizza

The Pinot has beautiful apple and sweet pear aromas on the nose and a velvety, perfectly balanced texture. Served well chilled, it can be enjoyed on its own or as the perfect accompaniment to cold meats, light salads and creamy pasta dishes.

These wines are a super great value at $7.99 each or two for $15.
Stop in Friday and I will have these three open as well as other hot summer deals!!
