I chose a red, white and rose from Charles Smith wines to celebrate summer hot temps finally arriving!Chill the Kung Fu Girl Riesling and enjoy it with Barbeque or hot wings to bring out the spiciness of the food-delicious!! Refreshingly off-sweet and juicy. Pure, focused and mouthwatering. Citrus blossom, lime leaf and white peach intermingle with a minerality that fills the palate. Carries on to a long refreshing finish. I love it! On sale for only $10.99-WOW!

Continue cooling down with a chilled bottle of Band of Roses by Charles Smith which is a very cool wine indeed. Pure, vibrant, fresh, penetrating perfume giving way to lilac, guava, tangerine, and passion fruit. Delivered on a silky palate, this Rosé has got the beat! Also on sale for only $10.99 reg.$14.99.

Then we need a red for all the steaks and burgers and that would be the Velvet Devil Merlot.-Balanced, rich and explosive. Think red plums and bittersweet cocoa with hints of smoke and cedar. So smooth, so naughty, and so very, very nice. Also on sale for $10.99.

All this goodness will be open from 2-7pm.

From 4-7 we will also have a rep from Boordy here with several of their award winning wines open.hiWe will open the White Sangria. This white tastes like summer in a glass. Lighter and crisper than it's ruby cousin, with tantalizing notes of tropical fruit and citrus, it is a wine for all occasions. It can be sipped by itself, paired with sweet and spicy foods, or for that olé feeling add a few mint leaves and slices of citrus or melon and serve over ice. Only $10.99Also open will be Jazzberry Red-A red wine that harmonizes the pure juices of strawberries and raspberries with a touch of grape. This unique blend has vivid fruit flavors and a sweet/tart finish that leaves you refreshed. Only $10.99.If you're trying to find a good white wine made in our fair state, look no further thanBoordy's Chardonnay-this one was aged in stainless steel for an exuberant, lively wine with tropical flavors and a racy acidity. Perfect with crabcakes or fish! $14.99And if it's a Maryland Red with character you're after, try the Boordy Syrah-this is their boldest red, with dark fruit flavors and spice with a long earthy finish-what's not to love? Only $14.99 for this red that is perfect with ribs or cedar-planked salmon.

BEERThis week we are featuring a summer beer sensation-Gose.What is a Gose you ask?A Gose is an old German beer style from Leipzig,Germany .It is an unfiltered wheat beer made with 50-60% malted wheat, which creates a cloudy yellow color and provides a refreshing crispness and twang. A Gose will have a low hop bitterness and a complementary dryness and spice from the use of ground coriander seeds and a sharpness from the addition of salt. Like Berliner Weisse beers, a Gose will sometimes be laced with various flavored and colored syrups. This is to balance out the addition of lactic acid that is added to the boil.We will open a few this Friday for you to try-stop in and see if you like Gose.

I hope you and yours have a fun,safe weekend,Thanks,Beth

Hey there, I think your site might be having browser compatibility
issues. When I look at your blog in Opera, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer,
it has some overlapping. I just wanted to give you a
quick heads up! Other then that, amazing blog!
